Grantham No 95 Creative and awesome business | DanielMarshallAdventures

So as you know by know from reading my posts, i write about a lot of things, one of which is helping getting the word out of businesses in Lincolnshire, as i am no expert on social media but i know helping by blogs, photography, videos and getting that content out there to help try and bring more custom to that business.

well today i have to highlight the amazing NO 95 In Grantham.

I have had my hair cut by different businesses, around Nottingham but only a few in Grantham.

One day early in 2016 i was looking around and saw this business, it had a great look inside and outside so decided to give it a go.

The first time i had it cut was by a chap called Charlie Harrison.
I have to say he has amazing eye for detail he does not rush, he knows what your wanting, even if you explain things wrong but get the just of the idea to him.
He is polite, but knows how to have a laugh, makes sure your ok, and overall has a pure talent for creating brilliant hair styles and cuts.

This was at a period of trying to set up my own business, got i would say business clothes but i also love them for going for meals out, etc, a smarter side of me that needed a smart hair cut (:

One of the things that stand out for this business to compared to others who cut hair, is there creative social media presence.

I dont know if they have someone doing the social media or its a member of the team in the business, also who they got to take the photos but they are out of this world.

The one that stood out to me the most was a cool shot at Belmont Tower In Grantham


  This would not normally stand out for me, but with most things in life, if you do something or see something that you did yourself, you then often love the similar things and it means more to you.
So for me i went on a long adventure to belmont tower only a few months a go, i was out for over 5 hours, getting lost, but made it in the end,
which you can see below

So to see this amazing business go to the same place, i fell in love with the picture even more.
I have now used their service 4 times now, 3 of which have been with Charlie, and one only a few days a go with someone new.

so like i had done with the other hair cuts i wanted to capture a picture of the experience but this time in the business itself.

I only wished i didnt look so derpy in the photo lol.
I love going there, because all the staff know what they are doing.
To me they beat any others in town, and they might be a little more to pay for a haircut but i choose quality, and care then price anyday.

just because you may find the cheapest business to cut your hair does not mean you will get the amazing hair cut you want !!!

as i mentioned about their social side they know how to capture with style and thats what they are all about sending you away like a new person with that style you want.

I hope they keep growing as a business and never lose the style that is them,
i also would love to keep seeing these creative views on getting a hair cut as again to me if i was looking on websites in my local area to get a haircut, their business would win anyday !!! (:

                                                                                                                      In June 2012 I Think It was Aspect Reviews was Created A review Channel I ran with Someone.
The channel was made to review any kind of product but have a Comedy Feel to it.
We soon Ditched that Idea as it was not us.
Over The years We connected with Big Brands
Magic Box I.N.T Aka Magic Box Toys, MunchPak , Toxic Fox, Venna V Aka YT CLUB, Colossal Crate & Many more.

We went From Uploading 3 videos a week to between 8-10 And Reached 1 Million  Channel Views with over 1,000 videos Created

During The Time of these Videos DanPendragon Was Born  A Channel For Vlogs, Gaming ,
* Other Content,

Most Of These Videos were Created with I Movie with sometimes very little effort
I made some Really cool Videos inc One of the best ones that is now lost forever.
It was A competition Video I entered Into Making  A Rocket League Music video.
I spent Days Creating This and was well Proud a moment in history for me (:

This year 2016 I Brought Back my Channel with A new Channel New look, & Much Better Quality Content.

So Being a YouTuber Is Awesome I only wish sometimes i could turn my Creative Ideas In my mind To The Video Platform .



I can Put my Hand up right now and say I always liked Looking at Pictures Taken But never Liked Watching someone take them or want to Capture something Myself.

That was Until June when I got My Funding From The Princes Trust to embark On My Business Adventure.
I went & Brought A Sony A5000 Camera. Its Not The best But For now it will do (:
I started Off By going for long walks Through My CountrySide Town Of Grantham.
Taking Pictures of anything i could and then editing them.
Throughout The months I learned What the camera can do and the settings needed in each environment i went to.

From September To This Day it when My life Changed and My Photography Career Began,
I wouldn't know what to do if i lost It.




When I first saw This website I really Did not get it and refused to be a part of it.
With not doing Photography Back then anyway Then It would have been no use to me.
1 Month After Doing Photography, I started to see how much of a impact it can Bring
to getting your Name out there and appear In google Keywords AKA (SEO)
Its not only a Platform To Share Photos with your friends but the Chance to Network With other Photographers.
To Optimize the best Performance To get Those Pictures out there.
You have to use HashTags For Example This Morning I Used About 10 Different ones.
Within a hour I had Over 100 likes, Inc Comments , within 4 hours over 300 likes and still Growing.

As I mentioned Above About Funding This was Needing to set out my Business plan.
my Business is To Create YouTube Videos For Businesses.
This itself Is a whole new Challenge for me.
Why you may ask? Well I need to Not only Be a Director,but Have Creative Ideas.
Through My Skills, experience & Researching I set out to be a Video Producer.
After Effects along with Photoshop, Lightzone, and of course the most important
one Premier pro.
Being a Video Producer is more then Taking Footage and quickly slinging a video Together.
You have to scope the place your Filming  Out. Arrange Times, Location,
If anyone wants to be Interviewed, what they are going to say, where they need to be.
Working out in your head, what clips flow, what effects needed, & Much More.
It is no easy job and many times can be very stressful.
However When that video is Doing so well and its Helped that business / People out.
Its worth it, to see People Taking Their Interest you.
To me Its something I only Dreamed about when Being a YouTuber.
I want to do so much in my life , i have tons of drive, passions, ideas
I want to excel, Onto better things. Again doing all this by myself is its own Reward.



When I was 18 I went to college At Confetti Studios In Nottingham.
I Studied DJ Skills, How to Record Instruments, Live sessions, Recreating Movie Scenes,
With Sounds Recorded In real life. For Example there was a scene in The Incredibles Movie.
Where Mr Incredible Slammed down onto a moving Car.
We Created that sound From the real world using Different Techniques.
This was at first Diploma Level & National.
I always had passion for sitting down on a computer and seeing what i could Produce.
I remember the times  Using good old Dance Ejay to Create Tracks, it was a laugh.
I have used many Programs to Produce music But i would have to say.
The one i am using now combined with Visual effects In after Effects is my best work so far.
with my Revamped skills, and looks, I also wanted to Revamped My Musical talents.
So I got my head down and studied Online, To Create DMP World

   
 For me I set a target that i will achieve one day of Getting artists Together.
To help Promote Their Musical Talents Onto My DMP WORLD YouTube Channel.
This Channel hosts many of my own work with visual effects,
So the idea is to do the same but with Other people (:

welcome everyone !! the video you can see explains my most happy place which is Tennis.
Grantham tennis club,staff and the facilities make this happen (:

So in this blog i will explain a bit of who i am, and what i do.

My name Is Daniel i am 25, I like to explore, travel, make music, write, make videos, take photography. I am also up for learning something new to add to my even growing list.
I am a dabbler and i see myself always that way.
I just find with being a explorer that i always want to find different things that will challenge myself, put my creative ideas to the test and make the most of life.
I live each day as it comes, i plan a little and if i do not manage to get those things done, i work with what i have got so to speak.

From the age of around 10 my brain opened up to what was really going off in my life.
I was not in a happy place, due to a number of reasons,
One of which was my parents, which made partly who i am today.
I have suffered from depression from a young age and still battle with it to this day.

It means that i can get very upset, and often angry at myself for being this way and not having the motivation or will power to do what i set out to do some days.

Everyday is a battle not knowing if what i planned to do will turn out or i will just fall to pieces and then having to think for days how to overcome it and try again.
which does lead into my anxiety, a few people of said to me they are 2 different things, and in some ways they are and arent.

If you suffer from anxiety, where you dont like being in big groups, getting a tight chest, feeling like your going to have a panic attack.
you can even feel like leaving places or fear of entering them because of people judgeing you on who you look, speak, and other factors.
so when you have depression, it does affect your anxiety more, it makes you more worrying, more afraid.
For me there are days where, i will not leave my room, I have a few friends, who i took to for advice but its always a battle of letting them in so to speak.
I want advice and help but at the same time, I feel i am wasting there time, fear of them judging me, them not understanding, wanting to be cared for, and praised but i put myself down all the time.

On top of all this i suffer from dyspraxia, sometimes my words come out wrong, i know in my head what to say so its not like i am dumb, but my mouth goes nope and says stuff mumbled or in a different way to what i had thought.
Other ways this affects me is my hand coordination, which links your brain and your body.
again looking stupid, and feeling stupid because i know how to tie laces, i have been shown loads of times but then my hands get muddled up and i end up frustrated and upset that i can not do it.
Another obstacle which i have only recently fount my own way around it but taking longer, is cooking, i can not for the live of me peel, and struggle to chop.
for years i relied on my ex partner to do all the cooking, and often my current housemates.
It feels so good to cook for yourself have meals you missed out on instead of buying supermarket crap (:

What i get up to

In 2016 I wanted to run my own video production company, but the love for making the videos comes and goes, because of my depression. Not only that but when you have other roles of your business to sort, you lose passion for making the videos, well for me anyway.
Around the time of wanting my own business, I got into Photography.
This has lead me into networking with fellow photographers, explore countrysides, doing photoshoots, helping other people out, going to events, and covering important community stuff.

I do a lot of market Research, testing out places to share my work and network with.
Not all of these work Thats why you try something and look for other ways to Promote your work.

  


As you can see by watching the video, Tennis is my Happy place, its the place where i put the most effort in, all my problems disappear.
it makes me a different person, where i can talk to people, I have fun and learn to push myself to the point my body hurts (:
All this could not be possible without the best staff in the world and the facilitates at Grantham Tennis Club.

I hit the gym with 2 great people who help push you pass your limits and has helped me get better fitness, strength and will power.
I also play pool once a week, and have played for over 4 years now, i love it even if i am playing by myself, again its a place just to be happy,

I am currently learning 2 courses at Grantham College to improve My photography skills.
I like to watch YouTube Videos to relax, play a few games, watch some movies and listen to some tunes.

So overall this is me i could go on for ages but i do not want my first Blog Post to be to long,
